Dr Disrespect announces new ‘AAA game studio’ Midnight Society
Dimapur, Dec. 15 (EMN): Popular YouTube and former Twitch streamer Herschel “Dr Disrespect” Beahm on Wednesday announced that he is teaming up with former Halo Infinite and Call of Duty developers to create a ‘AAA game studio’ called Midnight Society.
Dr Disrespect had tweeted on Dec. 14 that he was going to make the biggest announcement of his gaming career. Needless to say, a lot of fans and fellow streamers started speculating about the nature of his announcement with some even suggesting that he might have won his lawsuit against Twitch.
However, Dr Disrespect put to bed all the rumours after he posted a tweet earlier today announcing that he has opened his own AAA game studio called Midnight Society in collaboration with former Halo Infinite lead sandbox designer Quinn Delhoyo and former Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling.

Dr Disrespect did not reveal many details about his new venture apart from the name of the studio. On his official Twitter page, he wrote,”Introducing my new AAA Game Studio, Midnight Society. Give us a follow @12AM. It’s time.“
On its official website, Midnight Society claims itself to be a “AAA game studio” and the company is already working on a new PVP multiplayer game built from the ground up on Unreal Engine 5.
“Midnight Society is a new AAA game studio founded by Dr Disrespect, Robert Bowling (Call of Duty), and Quinn DelHoyo (Halo, Gears of War) – we’re focused on delivering the best, most community-focused, online PVP multiplayer experience the world has ever seen and it all starts today,” wrote Midnight Society.

Midnight Society hopes to turn tables upside down in the gaming industry with a new innovative approach to game development by including “communities and influencers much earlier in the development process.”
Dr Disrespect is no stranger to game development. Before he started streaming on Twitch, he worked as a community manager and game designer at Sledgehammer Games.
“As a long-time player, streamer, and former game developer myself, I’ve often dreamed of creating awesome titles that entire communities can get behind from day one. My vision is to make games that defy the one-and-done publishing model and reward all those fans and influencers who make them a success. I’m so excited to show everyone what we have planned,” Beahm said.
