DoNER Minister to visit Manipur

IMPHAL, January 5

[dropcap]U[/dropcap]nion Minister of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) Paban Singh Ghatowar is scheduled to arrive on January 8 on a day-long visit to Manipur, official sources in Imphal said.
Ghatowar will be arriving in the morning by an Indigo flight and will be launching of NERCORMP-III project at MFDC auditorium in Imphal. After launching the project, he will fly back to Guwahati by Air India fight in the afternoon,it added.So far there is no report minister’s plan to meet the state government officials and the media during his day long trip.
Talents of trained dogs demonstrated.A talent show for dogs was held today at Thangmeiband Athletic Union ground in Imphal.
Altogether 9 dogs from three dog training institutes displays and demonstrates their talents such as guarding, protection and obedience etc.
Regarding the dog talent show RK Jhaljit of Hen’s K9 Protection Training Centre said that the motive behind organizing such a show is to showcase the use of the well trained dogs in the society.
His dog training institute has also demonstrates the talents of a new breed of dog namely, Belgium Malinois. The training duration for this dog is 5 months. The dog has been trained by two trainers namely Rihan Khan and Thiyam Kipjen Singh.
Another training school called-Holand Dog Training School also showcase the skill of German Shepherds during the gathering.The show was jointly organised by Holand Dog Training School and Hen’s K9 Protection Training Centre.
