Dimapur Lotha students observe freshers’ meet

Dimapur, Sep. 28: The Dimapur Lotha Students’ Union held its 34th freshers’ meet-cum-5th academic excellency award programme on the theme “Be the change” at IMC hall in Dimapur on September 28.
The speaker of the programme, W Rainbow Ngullie, Central Government Standing Counsel (CGSC) and panel lawyer of Enforcement Directorate, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, exhorted the students to have desires and positive attitude in life.
Acknowledging that every achievement and progress starts with the desire to learn and grow, Ngullie encouraged the students to take problems and translate them into an opportunity to learn and grow.
“Setbacks will come but if we are prepared for it, we would never be discouraged by any obstacle,” Ngullie stated. He also asked the students to imbibe a positive thinking and see the good in other people.
Certificates were given to the students of Classes X and XII (Arts and Science), who secured above 75%.
The second session of the programme witnessed the contest of Mr and Mrs Freshers 2019 in which Zuben Ngullie and Lovungi Tsopoe were crowned Mr and Miss Fresher respectively
