Dimapur, Jan. 20 (EMN): Dimapur defeated Kohima on Wednesday to qualify for the finals of the first G Rio Memorial U-19 (Boys) inter-district tournament.
According to an update, Dimapur defeated Kohima by nine wickets.
Dimapur top the chart in Group A after winning all of their group games.
In the other Group A match, Mokokchung defeated Tuensang by 108 runs in 22 overs. Opening batsmen, Nripen Rai and Mughavi scored 108 and 100 respectively. The total was 216 for no loss of wickets in 22 overs.
League matches for Group B, which includes Peren, Wokha, Zunheboto and Mon, will start from January 22. The winner of the group will meet Dimapur in the final on January 26.
