Dimapur Christian Forum deliberates on measures to combat socio-political issues
Dimapur, Nov. 17 (EMN): Dimapur Christian Forum (DCF) held a consultative meeting to discuss the ‘The role of churches in combating unemployment of youth, Nagaland Liquor Total Prohibition Act 1989 and the collective response of churches on the political scenario.’
According to an update, the meeting was held with its executive members, advisors and office bearers along with the women and youth commission leaders at Bishop House in Dimapur on November 14.
The members discussed and deliberated the issues elaborately and decided to form three working committees to plan the upcoming wider consultative meetings and chalk out the strategies and action plan to combat the said issues, it read.
“The DCF along with the three committees will be organising a larger consultative meeting on December 5 to further discuss and finalise the actions and strategies that have to be implemented by the churches,” it informed. CFD has therefore invited and requested all the church leaders, pastors and reverends to be part of this meeting, it added.
