DIC, Dimapur refutes ACAUT allegations

District Industries Centre (DIC), Dimapur has refuted to the allegations hurled against it by ACAUT Nagaland. The DIC Dimapur said it is shocked to learn that the ACAUT Nagaland has given a news item alleging that ‘some top official(s) of District Industries Centre, (DIC) Dimapur again threatened employees that names and addresses of those not willing to deduct 24% of salary for NPGs / undergrounds, would be handed over to the undergrounds to be dealt by them.’
In this regard, the DIC said that it had not threatened any of its employees for deductions of the said 24% of salary nor any salary was deducted.
“The ACAUT Nagaland has on November 26 written a letter to this office about deduction of salaries of Government employees under this establishment and payment made to Naga political groups. It has also stated in the letter that the deducted amount be returned to the employees without fail,” DIC, Dimapur stated.
In this regard, DIC, Dimapur said it was surprised as when no deduction was ever made that time. So, the question of returning the deducted amount does not arise at all.
The DIC, Dimapur further said it is also shocked by the entire episode and is constraint to issue this clarification and desires that no such accusations arise in the near future without proper verification and authenticity.
