Dimapur, Aug. 25 (EMN): Naga Students’ Union Dibrugarh (NSUD) held its annual freshers’ day on August 24 at Little Flower School auditorium.
NK Kaphungkui, assistant professor, Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology (DUIET), exhorted the students gathering, while Dr. Bendangjungshi, pastor of Naga Christian Fellowship (NCF), Dibrugarh, pronounced special prayer for the freshers, stated an update from the students’ union.
Special invitees who attended the programme included president of Study Circle Sonowal Khachari along with general secretaries Kamjyoti Sonowal and Kailash Kutum and president of Dibrugarh University Mishing Students’ Union Bikram Mili.
The special invitees encouraged the freshers and other members to stand united and strive hard to reach their goal.
Earlier, assistant professor Dr. Akhono, department of anthropology, Dibrugarh University, pronounced the invocation and the union vice president, Kape Khalo, delivered the welcome address.
Around 70 members along with 16 freshers from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh University and other colleges in Dibrugarh attended the programme, stated Ketholeno Neihu in an update on Sunday.
