Mokokchung, July 1 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Mokokchung, Limawabang Jamir, in an order on Thursday informed that display of vaccination certificate/status of all shopkeepers and business establishments under Mokokchung district would be mandatory with effect from July 1.
The order stated that Covid-19 appropriate behaviours like wearing of facemask, social distancing and provision of hand sanitizers/ hand washing facilities at all business establishments should be adhered to at all times without fail.
It warned that any person/group of persons acting in violation of the order would be deemed to have committed an offence punishable under section 188 and 177 of IPC and relevant provision of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, amounting to punishment with imprisonment upto two years or fine or with both.
