Dimapur, July 18 (EMN): Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation (DAYO) was shocked to learn that Tongpang Ozukum, minister of Roads and Bridges, would be a part of the reshuffle in the PDA ministry.
DAYO reminded the government that when PDA was at its most crucial moment to form the government, it was Tongpang Ozukum’s pledge of support and sacrifice that tilted the weight scale to form the ruling government. DAYO added that in this century meant for the youth, it would be befitting to give a responsible department to young leader.
DAYO president, Aotemsu Aier, and the general secretary, S Pangertoshi stated that Tongpang Ozukum, in a short span of time, had proved his mettle and efficiency in executing crucial road projects especially in Kohima and Dimapur.
It further stated that DAYO along with the Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjen (MTLT) and the younger Naga generation desire to see Tongpang Ozukum complete his tenure as the minister of Roads and Bridges.
