Couple from Dimapur arrested on charge of physically assaulting minor boy

Dimapur, May 28 (EMN): Dimapur police has arrested a married couple residing in Sematilla colony on criminal charges of physically assaulting a minor domestic helper.

The arrest was made after the Child Helpline Dimapur informed the police about the assault of a boy aged about 10 years.

The police informed that a case has been registered against the couple at the Sub Urban Police Station in Dimapur based on suo moto FIR. The accused are under police custody and the case under investigation.

The Dimapur police also updated about the incident on its official Twitter account on Friday.
