Condemnations over mass killings continue to pour in

KADCC condemns the mass
killing in Nagaland
The Karbi Anglong District Congress Committee (KADCC) has strongly condemned the mass murder of nine innocent Karbi youth near Dimapur in Nagaland and another teenager shot dead at Karagoan. Reacting sharply, Sum Ronghang, president, KADCC has expressed serious concern over the situation and said it deputed KADCC general secretaries, Surendra Singnar, Bidya Sing Teron, Chandra Sing Teron and Anil Borah along with secretaries Soltiel Tewa and Silarson Rongpi on January 5.
The KADCC delegation team visited the spot of shoot out at Karagaon, Khatkhati where DS Rongpi was shot dead and met the bereaved family of slain Harlongbi Engti at Rongkangthir, Bokajan and extended solidarity to them.
While vehemently condemning the barbaric act of the mass killings, the KADCC urged both Assam and Nagaland governments to leave no stone unturned to nab the culprits involved in the heinous crime and punish them as per the law of the land.
At the same time, the KADCC has appealed all sections of people living in Karbi Anglong (Assam) and Nagaland to join hands together to restore age-old cordial relationship and peaceful co-existence among the entire populace and communities in Karbi Anglong.
DDCF
The DDCF also condemns the mass murder of nine persons in Dimapur in the sttongest terms.Joseph Lemtur DDCF president strongly protested against the using Dimapur as a killing field and requested all concerned to maintain the age old bond of friendship and farternity among the neighbouring states and avoid violence.

CRBC
The Council of Rengma Baptist Churches (CRBC) has also expressed shocked to learn the brutal murder of 9 men whose dead bodies were found near Pachaspura under Dimapur district. The council also condemned the murder of late Akivito Sumi on December 30 last in Dimapur and prayed for God’s grace and comfort for the family members of the deceased.
