Dimapur, Oct. 27 (EMN): Childline 1098, Mokokchung organised a sensitisation week at police stations (PS), outposts and check posts in Mokokchung district.
This was necessitated for better cooperation with the police, since it is necessary that the concerned department is aware of Childline functions and duties. Thus, Childline Mokokchung visited all the police stations, women police stations, outposts and checkposts, an update stated on Tuesday.
The sensitisation week culminated in October 25.
“While meeting the police, they assured even more cooperation and better coordination with the Childline,” it stated.
The PS, outposts and check posts visited were PS-I and PS-II,Mokokchung, women police station, traffic control, PS Mangkolemba, PS Longtho, Tsutapela gate,PS Longchem, Alongkima l Outpost, PS Kubolong, PS Changtongya, PS Tuli, Chuchuyimlang outpost and Watiyongpang check gate.
