Dimapur, Mar. 1 (EMN): Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) has launched its pilot project called ‘Team Tea For Mission’ (TTFM) by its executive secretary Rev. Khrotso Mero on February 29 at Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers’ Hill, Kohima (CBCMHK).

According to CBCMHK press statement issued by its media and publicity committee, TTFM was launched with an aim to fulfil the dreams of sending 10,000 missionaries to the land of those who are in need of gospel, transforming ‘Land of Festival to Land Missionaries’ and so forth.

TTFM was initiated by the International Mission Committee (IMC), which is an undertaking of the Chakhesang Mission Society (CMS) of the CBCC.

In an introduction, IMC chairman Kudecho Khamo stated that TTFM is a business project initiated for the mission endeavours to fulfil every believer’s calling to be the salt and light of the world and thereby allow the redemptive power of the gospel to influence every part of the society, including the business environment. TTFM is solely managed and monitored by the IMC.

Launching the project, CBCC executive secretary Rev. Khrotso Mero urged the mission team members to utilise the project in the larger interest of the people and for the glorification of God’s kingdom. Stating that mission initiatives required good team work, Mero urged the entire members of the Christian society to jointly venture out focusing Jesus as the target of the project.

Reminding that the world is hungry and thirsty of the gospel in many areas around the globe, Mero urged the members to move out of their comfort zone armed with the gospel in reaching out to those unreached.

The ceremony was led by CMS chairman Rev. Dr. Kedungulo Mero, while the opening prayer was said by CBCMHK senior pastor Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao and introduction of the project was said by IMC chairman, Kudecho Khamo. Presentation of CMS at a glance was delivered by CMS director Rev. Dr. Kowepe Kanuo.
