Bye-election: Kohima SDRF sanitises polling stations

SDRF personnel sanitise the designated polling station at Kigwema on November 1.

Dimapur, Nov. 2 (EMN): In view of the upcoming bye-election to the 14-Southern Angami-I assembly constituency scheduled to be held on November 3 and also keeping in line with the safety protocol, personnel of Home Guards, Civil Defence and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Kohima sanitised polling stations on November 1.

The Coy commander, A K Prem Kumar, informed that altogether five SDRF teams carried out the sanitisation drive covering all the 22 designated polling stations located at Chotobosti, Phesama, Pfuchama, Mima, Mitelephe, Kigwema, and Jakhama villages.

The drive was carried out as per the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India for safe election, it informed.
