Young Leaders Meet, an initiative of the Bade Students Union (BSU) was organized on December 31 at Council Hall, Bade under the theme ‘Collaborate, communicate and connect’. The meet was supported and sponsored by Bade Village Council in collaboration with the Bade youth organization and the Christian Youth endeavor, Bade. Around 60 young leaders participated in the meet comprising of departmental heads under Bade Village Council and Bade Baptist Church, village elders, school teachers, student leaders and well wishers.
The meet deliberated on the roles of the student body and streamlining of functions among various village departments. The consultative meet saw the need to support and collaborate with the school management committee (SMC) and the school authority for providing quality education to the students that will prompt the student body to actively participate in the management of schools in the village jurisdiction.
A new team of office bearers led by Wekokhro Medo as president has been handed over the charge to run the student body, a press release stated.
