DIMAPUR, APRIL 21
ONE of the most prolific Christian writers in Nagaland, Imtijungla Longchar on Monday released her seventeenth book, entitled Home Visitation, here today in Dimapur. ‘Home Visitation’ was formally launched by the Principal of Discipleship Bible College, Rev O Alem. The book is divided into 68 chapters or “lessons”, in the word of the author. “Home Visitation has a Biblical rational,” she says in the book. The book, according to Imtijungla Longchar, has been targeted to reach to an audience of home evangelists “who are mostly non-theologians.” It is a guide for home evangelists and even church workers and ministers can learn from it, she said.
Rev O Alem likened the book to a balanced diet. “Books are like food and diet. Good health comes from a balanced diet. And Ajungla’s writings (in the book) come as a balanced diet, especially in today’s context,” he said.
The Reverend hoped that the book would be “a sort of healing touch to families.”
