Blue Vanda conducts eye camp for students

Dimapur, Sep. 15 (EMN): Blue Vanda, a women wing of the Lions Club of Dimapur, organised a free eye screening camp for children of Vidya Bhawan School and St. Mary’s School on September 14.

Blue Vanda secretary and PRO, Neeta Agarwal, stated that a total of 402 children were screened during the camp. Jaya Agarwal was the chairperson and Seema Bhowal was the co-chairperson of the project. The project was undertaken under the presidentship of Saraswati Sharma.

VDG l of Lions Clubs International 322 D, Lalita Khadaria and Neena Dutta, principal of St. Mary’s School spoke on the occasion. The speakers informed that children with eye defect would be treated free of cost at Lions Centre on September 21 and 22.
