Dimapur, July 7 (EMN): BJP national general secretary (Org), V Satish, concluded his two-day organisational tour programme at Kohima on July 6. During the period, he inaugurated the party office in Kohima and held several meetings with the party’s core committee members, MLAs, State office bearers, booth level full time Karyakatta party workers, State frontal presidents and general secretaries.
Addressing the party workers, V Satish encouraged them to work hard with sincerity. He appealed the party karyakatas to reach out to the public and spread the information and assist the people on the various schemes launched by Modi’s government for their benefits.On July 5, CBCK pastor C Puro said the dedicatory prayer, while V Satish inaugurated the State BJP office at CK Arcade, Kohima, in the midst of a large gathering of party workers and the State president Visasolie Lhoungu along with State party officials.
It was followed by a formal function in welcoming new members into the party. V Satish and the State president Visasolie Lhoungu welcomed four new members to the party’s fold. The new members were T Meru, former president of Youth Congress, Dimapur; James Akham, former general secretary of Minority Cell and Traders’ Cell, NPCC; Visasizo Peseyie, from 8 Western Angami A/C; and Viseto Natso, former secretary of Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress.
V Satish was accompanied by Vijay Kumar Gupta, chairman of Assam Finance Corporation; Anil Kumar Das, vice chairman of Assam Finance Corporation; Ranjit Mazumdar, OSD to chief minister of Assam; RK Ghosh, vice chairman of Assam Linguistic Minority Development Board; and Niren Baishya, general secretary of BJP Majdoor Morcha, Assam.
