BJP Karbi Anglong celebrates 42nd Foundation Day

Diphu, April 6 (EMN): Bharatiya Janata Party, East Karbi Anglong District Committee (BJP-EKADC) celebrated the 42nd foundation day of the party at its district committee office in Diphu on Wednesday.

The celebration kicked-off with the hoisting of party flag by the president of BJP-EKADC, Dhansing Teron. The Chief Executive Member (CEM), Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) Tuliram Ronghang along with Teron and party leaders remembered former prime minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and party founding leaders Dr. Syama Prashad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and offered flowers and prayers in-front of their portraits.

On the occasion, the CEM and party leaders planted tree saplings at the district BJP office. A procession was also taken out from the party office to the main road.
