BJP district presidents endorse PDA govt.

Dimapur, Feb. 17 (EMN): State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district presidents have resolved to strengthen PDA government to bring about rapid all-round development in the state, while they have also endorsed the leaderships of the BLP leader and deputy chief minister, Y Patton, as well as the state party president and minister of higher and technical education, Temjen Imna Along, and all the party ministers and advisors in taking the party to new heights and ensure welfare of the party workers.
The resolution to this effect was taken during a coordination meeting convened by the state party president, Temjen Imna Along, with the district presidents at his official residence in Kohima on February 16.
The district presidents beseech the BJP ministers and advisors to work unitedly and collectively for the development and prosperity of all the Naga people.

They have also appreciated the efforts of PDA government under the leadership of the state chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, and the deputy chief minister, Y Patton, for vigorously undertaking major development works and bringing progress in the state thereby reviving the hopes of the Naga people.

The meeting has condemned the terrorist attack on security forces in Pulwama and demanded immediate stringent actions on the inhuman perpetrators.
Meanwhile, the meeting also the acting district president of Peren, Tingsangai John Panmei, as the president of Peren district with effect from February 16.

The state president has also reaffirmed the tenure of all the district presidents as on February 16 to be coterminous with the tenure of the state president.

The meeting concluded in unison to work for the development of the party and its members and take the party to new heights.
Besides the district presidents, state general secretaries Jaangsillung Gonmei and Kum; state treasurer Kavili Achumi, spokespersons Mahesh Kotecha and Lanu Akum O and state IT convenor Pronoy Boruah
attended the meeting.
