Best upcoming PC games releasing in September 2022

September is looking to be a busy month for PC gamers worldwide. A lot of exciting games are coming to desktops and with the incoming dip in GPU prices because of the Ethereum merge, PC gamers might be able to find a good deal on a GPU that will deliver the framerates for these upcoming games.

We are excited about certain games coming to PC in September. These include Return to Monkey Island, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R, FIFA 23, Steelrising and The Last of Us Part 1.

Football fans will be stoked to know that FIFA 23 is right around the corner. PSG forward, Kylian Mbappé, and Chelsea FC player, Sam Kerr, are the cover stars on the Ultimate Edition. The new FIFA 23 will bring some long-awaited additions, including cross-play, the World Cup, the Women’s World Cup and, for the first time, women’s club teams.

Another game coming in September is Steelrising, a third-person action game centred on the French Revolution. It is an alternate retelling of history where King Louis XVI’s army has been replaced with legions of automatons. Players take on the role of an automaton named Aegis, created to entertain and protect Queen Marie Antoinette.

Return to Monkey Island is next our wish list, a sequel to the 1991 game Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge. Players can banter with old friends and new faces on familiar islands, take to the high seas and explore the new landscapes, solve puzzles and embark on quests to help Guybrush regain his fame. Players can also visit various archipelagos such as Terror Island and Brr Muda, forge alliances and fight enemies to help restore order to Melee island.
