Assam Rifles sponsors basketball team for tournament

Dimapur, April 21 (EMN): Jalukie Battalion, Assam Rifles (AR) under the aegis of IGAR (North) sponsored and flagged off St. Xavier College, Jalukie basketball team for participation in the JV Foundation basketball tournament on April 19.

An interactive session with the basketball players of the college was organised at the battalion’s premises, where they were informed and educated about the importance and role of games and sports, an update informed.

The battalion also provided kits for their stay and the tournament, and facilitated the transport of the players to Dimapur.
