Assam Rifles Sentinels Football Tournament: Wins for Manipur, AR, Arunachal and TA
Dimapur, Dec. 1 (EMN): Manipur, Assam Rifles, Arunachal Pradesh and 156 Territorial Army (TA) registered wins in their respective matches at the ongoing Assam Rifles Sentinels of the North East Football Tournament on Thursday.
An update informed that Pool ‘A ‘matches were played at Sukhovi and Pool ‘B’ matches at 3rd Mile, Dimapur.
In the first Pool ‘A’ match, Manipur stunned Nagaland 15 – 1, while in the second match Arunachal Pradesh were declared winners after the rival Assam team staged a walk out following two of the players receiving red cards.
In the first Pool ‘B’ match, Assam Rifles routed Meghalaya 8-1 and 165 Territorial Army outgunned Tripura 7 – 1 in the second match.
