Dimapur, Dec. 1 (EMN): As part of the Hornbill Festival, ‘Artist Corner’ was inaugurated on December 1 at Eastern Art Council, Naga Shopping Arcade, Dimapur.
The event was inaugurated by Sedevilie Angami, president of Dimapur Naga Students’ Union, while the dedication prayer was said by Alemwati Aier, Mangimen youth director. The programme is being sponsored by department of Art and Culture and organised jointly by Eastern Art Council and Act of Kindness Society.
Organisers informed that work of various artists from Nagaland have been put up on exhibition-cum-sale for the public. It also informed that art workshops on calligraphy and charcoal would be conducted on December 4, while paper-bags making would be conducted on December 6, clay modelling on December 7, card making on December 9 and art demonstration on December 3rd, 4th, and the 9th.
