Art & Culture dept. invites application for financial assistances
DIMAPUR — The Directorate of Art and Culture has invited application from voluntary organisations, research scholars, universities and colleges for scheme of financial assistance for the preservation and development of cultural heritage of Himalayas 2024-25.
According to a DIPR report, voluntary organisations, research scholars and educational institutions desiring to avail the scheme should have resources for meeting matching funds under North East Zone Cultural Centre, Dimapur.
The applicant should be an Indian citizen and indigenous inhabitant of the concerned state. The organisation/research scholars/universities/colleges should submit complete application along with documents as per the requirements of the scheme.
The research scholars, universities and colleges should forward their application through the UGC to NEZCC, Dimapur. Application complete in all respect will be placed for consideration of the expert committee in the meeting, which will be constituted by the Ministry of Culture.
The application forms and other details can be collected from the Office of the Directorate of Art and Culture/Affairs, government of concerned state or Shilpgram, Panjabari, Guwahati and headquarter office, Dimapur. The forms are also available on NEZCC website https://nezccdimapur.org.in and https:// www.facebook.com/NEZCC.
Last date for submission of the application is October 31. Director of NEZCC shall have the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason, it stated.
