Alva’s offers concessional seats to Nagaland students

Dimapur, May 29 (EMN): An institution, Alva’s Education Foundation at Moodbidri, a few kilometres away from Mangalore in Karnataka, has offered seats at concessional rates for the academic season 2019-20.
The concessions is stated to be an initiative of the governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya and the Indian National Fellowship Centre, a nongovernmental organisation from Mumbai, a press release from the governor’s office on Wednesday stated.

Alva’s Education Foundation is offering a total of 100 seats for students from Nagaland at concessional rates to various courses. The press release listed the seats and courses: Fifteen seats are being offered in general nursing while five seats each are being offered in naturopathy (BNYA), mechanical engineering; MBA, BSW, MSW, BA (HPS), BA (HPE), MA in English, MA in economics, M.Com HRD, M.Sc. in biotechnology, BVA (visual arts), M.Sc. in zoology, M.Sc. mathematics, information science in engineering, electronics and communication in engineering and civil engineering.

“A committee has been set up to select the students based on merit. Interested students may submit their application stating the seat he/she wants to apply for along with a copy of their mark sheets, Indigenous Inhabitant of Nagaland Certificate and their contact number addressed to OSD to Governor, Raj Bhavan Kohima by 10th June 2019.,” the updates stated.

“The application may be emailed to secy.rajbhavannagaland@gmail.com. For further enquiry one may contact (0370)2245789 during office hours,” the press release added.
