NNPSGSEF Chümoukedima unit holds general meeting
DIMAPUR — The Nagaland National Pension System Government Service Employees Forum (NNPSGSEF) Chümoukedima unit, held its first general meeting at Chümoukedima village on October 26.
According to an update, the meeting, chaired by NNPSGSEF Chümoukedima unit president, Kekhrielenuo Pienyii, featured key addresses from unit officials, including a secretarial report by general secretary Chumtila Sangtam and an overview of NPS and OPS by finance secretary Kevivozo Mere.
Sherinlo Keppen, the unit’s media and information secretary, also shared on the coming together in unity and cooperation.
Vice president of NNPSGSEF central team, Kohima, Jenti Amri highlighted the formation of the forum and its fight to scrap the National Pension System (NPS) and restoring the Old Pension Scheme (OPS).
Avizo Neinu, spokesperson of NNPSGSEF central team, stressed the need for unity of all NPS subscribers of Nagaland to stand firm in fighting for a “secured future.”
The meeting concluded with emphasis on unity among NPS subscribers and a call to action “Pension is our right, scrap NPS restore OPS.’
