Jalukie veterinary college conducts animal health camp

DIMAPUR — The College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry Jalukie, Peren, organised a one-day awareness programme on conservation-cum-animal health camp on September 28 at Old Jalukie village.

According to an update, the programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. I. Shakunkala, Dean of the college, and faculty members from the Department of LPM, AGB, and LFC organised the event.

The programme was funded by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources (ICAR-NBAGR).

During the programme, experts from the departments briefed participants on scientific management practices in goat and poultry husbandry, as well as various scientific conservation methods.

A total of 54 individuals attended the programme, and all participants were provided with deworming kits and feed supplements.
