DBS invites connoisseurs for cultural competitions

DIMAPUR — Dimapur Bengali Samaj (DBS) has invited connoisseurs of poetry, dance, music, and art, as well as community members and others, to participate in the 7th Annual NorthEast Cultural Competition, which commenced on September 22.

The ongoing event at the Shri Shri Ramthakur Sevashram premises in Railway Colony, Dimapur, will culminate on September 29.

In an update, DBS mentioned that various competitions are being held from 9 am to 7:30 pm each day, with local artists and many from neighbouring areas vying for the honours.

The celebrations this year are dedicated to the memory of the late Prof. Debasish Dutta for his contributions to Bengali culture and literature.
