MCTE organises induction programme for new batch

MOKOKCHUNG — The Mokokchung College of Teacher Education (MCTE), Yimyu, organised its 13th induction programme for the new batch of student-teachers for the academic year 2024-26 on August 14.

Nokchanaro, representing the senior batch, warmly welcomed the freshers and encouraged them to support one another as they embark on their educational journey, Yangersenla, speaking on behalf of the freshers, expressed her gratitude and excitement to be a part of MCTE.

Dr. Temsurenla, the vice principal, urged the student-teachers to remain committed to their goals, replacing procrastination with action. She emphasised on ‘Pertinacity’ and ‘Consistency’ by saying that those values would lead to success even at times when the path might seem to be daunting and challenging.

The formal programme was followed with an informal session where the student-teachers performed an act to strengthen the bond within the MCTE family.
