Annual sports meet of St. JBS Khonoma concludes

DIMAPUR — The three-day annual sports and games meet of St. John Bosco School (St. JBS), Khonoma, concluded on Saturday.

The annual sports meet was earlier inaugurated on March 7 with Dr. Gomesh Mosahary, principal of Sazolie College of Teachers Education, Jotsoma, as the chief guest, an update stated.

The event kicked off with an “inspiring address” by the chief guest and welcome address by the school headmaster, Rev. Fr. Solomon Vizo, setting the tone for a day filled with excitement and fierce competition.

“Exciting races and closely contested matches kept the audience on the edge of their seats throughout the days. The atmosphere was filled with cheers and applause as the children demonstrated sportsmanship and encouraged their teammates and competitors alike,” the update stated.

The sports meet was a “resounding success, showcasing the incredible talent, dedication and sportsmanship of all the participants,” it added.
