KOHIMA — Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio assured the Kohima Press Club (KPC) that the construction of the club’s office building on the allotted plot in the state capital would be completed within one year.
He said this on Tuesday in Kohima at a press conference following the budget session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly while responding to questions regarding issues like a pension scheme for media persons and others.
It should be noted that the old KPC office at the Old Secretariat was destroyed during a protest in 2017. Since the incident, KPC has been operating without a permanent office space.
