Gurjar interacts with party workers, invites people to Ayodhya

DIMAPUR — Krishan Pal Gurjar, Union Minister of State for Power and Heavy Industries, who was in Nagaland for a two-day visit, interacted with BJP Nagaland party workers on Sunday at the BJP office in Dimapur’s Super Market before heading to Delhi.

During the meeting, Gurjar commended their dedication and emphasised their role in fortifying the Prime Minister’s leadership, according to an update by the official BJP Nagaland handle on X (formerly Twitter).

He shed light on the Northeast’s significance in the union budget and reiterated the 10% budget allocation towards the region’s development. He also applauded Modi’s numerous visits to the Northeast and maintained that Modi is focused on all-round development in the region.

The minister stated that the BJP’s victory is in the hands of the karyakartas and urged the members to continue working hard to ensure the BJP’s victory for the third consecutive term in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Meanwhile, Gurjar visited various colonies in Dimapur on Sunday and invited people to attend the Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony on January 22 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

“This occasion is a symbol of our cultural heritage and unity,” he wrote on X, alongside images of his visits to people’s homes.

On Saturday, the minister visited Hovishe village in Niuland district to see how the villagers are benefiting from the Centre’s social welfare schemes. He also went to Hovishe Village Baptist Church during his visit. Later, he wrote on X that he was moved by the villagers’ prayers for his well-being.

“Their warmth and care are truly heartwarming. Thank you, Hovishe, for your kindness,” he mentioned.
