Peren district to organise training on microsoft diversity skilling
Peren district administration and the district skills committee, in collaboration with Microsoft Philanthropies will organise skill training for women and youth on microsoft diversity skilling programme — Persons between 16 and 35 years would be eligible for the training
DIMAPUR — Peren district administration and the district skills committee, in collaboration with Microsoft Philanthropies, will organise skill training for women and youth on microsoft diversity skilling programme. The training would be conducted on digital productivity, employability skills, communication skills and entrepreneurial skills.
The deputy commissioner of Peren, Vineet Kumar, has informed that all the candidates would be presented with a certificate from Microsoft after the successful completion of the training. He added that they would be given hand-holding to find job placements after the training.
According to a DIPR report, the training aims to upskill and impart professional training. Persons between 16 and 35 years would be eligible for the training and the training course duration would be 40-140 hours depending on the curriculum.
The DC Peren also informed that the training venue would be intimated later and the last date for submission of application has been set on July 15.
The applicants could send their applications both online and offline. In another statement, the DC Peren informed that Microsoft diversity skilling programme for school and college students. The training aims to upskill and impart professional training.
He informed that all candidates would be presented with a certificate from Microsoft after the successful completion of the training. He added that the district administration would select schools and colleges (both private and government), who are interested to be part of the initiative and also train the faculties or trainers from the institution, who could further take the programme to the end-level beneficiaries and make the programme sustainable.
Students from classes 8 and above would be eligible for the training. Interested educational institutions are requested to submit application to the above mentioned address.
