Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland (WENN) partner State Bank of India (SBI) launched the financial literacy programme by organising its first workshop
DIMAPUR — Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland along with its knowledge partner State Bank of India (SBI) launched the financial literacy programme by organising its first workshop on May 30 at SBI regional office conference hall in Dimapur.
Aligning with WENN’s 2023 theme ‘Financial literacy’, it was the first in a series of workshops which would be held in eight districts of Nagaland in 2023 focusing on empowering women by equipping them with financial knowledge and skills essential for success in the rapidly growing entrepreneurial landscape.
“WENN is committed to empowering women entrepreneurs in Nagaland with financial literacy skills to elevate their businesses and contribute to their financial independence,” said WENN chairperson, Alemjungla Jamir.

It mentioned that WENN is a network of women entrepreneurs from Nagaland focusing on entrepreneurial information sharing, training support and business solutions.
The workshop concluded with a note of encouragement delivered by Haolen Hangsing, AGM of SBI regional office. He encouraged the women entrepreneurs present to be role models and maintain a good relationship with the banks and pave ways for many more women entrepreneurs. He assured that SBI would support the women entrepreneurs provided they show commitment and discipline.
