Nagaland: LJP (RV) to take up public issues in state assembly and parliament
The national general secretary of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Dr. Ajay Kummar Pandey, has termed ‘historic’ as a regional party from Bihar could secure around 9% vote share in the recently concluded state election and appreciated the people of Nagaland for their support.
Interacting with media persons here on Friday at Hotel Saramati, Pandey pointed out that the problems of Bihar and Nagaland are not different as they are faced with unemployment, infrastructure and migration of educated youth force to other states in search of job. Irrespective of the number of seats won, Pandey stated that LJP (RV) would take up those issues not only in the Nagaland assembly but also in the parliament through its charismatic leaders like Chirag Paswan.
He stated that the party would specifically look into the issues of health and medical facilities and most importantly local employment opportunities for the youth of Nagaland so that they do not migrate to others states for petty jobs. He also announced that team Nagaland along with team India of LJP (Ram Vilas) would take up the cause of entire Northeast as they are inseparable and holds important part of India.

On query whether the two MLA would be part of the government, Pandey said that he is in Nagaland to take stock of the latest development and political situation. He added that the party has to wait for the central command to take the final call.
Pandey also mentioned that LJP (RV) has decided to start a Northeast Cell where its headquarters would be located either in Dimapur or Kohima. According to him, all India network would be created through the Northeast Cell and provide health, medical, legal, educational, entrepreneurship assistance and also work to bring different government schemes to the people of Nagaland as well as conduct various workshop.
Pandey also updated that the party would come out with exclusive app where all the members of LJP would be integrated for better coordination.
Also speaking on the occasion, president of Nagaland LJP (RV) Parliamentary Board, Kitoho S Rotokha, said he has lost the electoral battle but won the hearts of the people. He has attributed basically to tribalism, clan and money politics for losing in the electoral battle. Dimapur, March 3 (EMN)
