Manipur bodybuilders selected for national trial

Imphal, May 5 (EMN): Manipur has announced the names of the nine state body-building athletes, who will undergo Indian team trial selection for the 54th Asian Body Building and Sports Championship 2022 and 13th WBPF World Body Building and Physique Sports Championship 2022.

According to a memorandum of the All Manipur Body Builders Association, the athletes who were selected for the trial to be held in Himachal Pradesh from May 21 to 22nd are — Mangaal Arambam of Boby’s Golden Gym, Chajing (Men’s Sports Physique: open); Khumanthem Sushilkumar of Manipur Fitness Club, Konung Mamang (75 kg junior bodybuilding); Chingkheinangba Athokpam of RAF, Thoubal (75 kg junior bodybuilding); Dinesh Leitanthem of Manipur Fitness Club (75 kg Senior bodybuilding); Wangkheirakpam Priyobarta Singh of Liangtuang Kamei Foundation (90 kg senior bodybuilding); Zenika Naorem of Sangai Gym (Junior Women’s Model Physique); Solimla Jajo of Royal Gymnasium Ukhrul (Ladies Women Model Physique); Solal Jajo of Royal Gymnasium Ukhrul (Ladies Women Model Physique), and Chingangbam Karishma Chanu of Super Gym Khurai (55 kg Women bodybuilding).

Meanwhile, the athletes will be accompanied by two officials — N Ratan Singh, and N Kishan Singh.
