Realme officially launches GT2 Pro and GT2 android phones
Dimapur, Feb. 28 (EMN): Realme has officially launched the newest entrants to its GT series of android phones – Realme GT2 and Realme GT2 Pro – at Mobile World Congress 2022 today, February 28.
The two phones share the same design, battery and cameras, however, the Realme GT2 Pro comes with a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and a bigger 6.7-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED LTPO 2.0 panel.
Realme had already launched the two devices in China in January and now, both devices are officially going on sale in Europe from March 15. The company has also confirmed that the devices will be launching in markets like India, Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Latin America in the upcoming months.
Realme GT2 Pro and Realme GT2 prices
Realme GT 2 is priced at €549 (around INR 46,500) for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage model and €599 (around INR 50,500) for 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant. The Realme GT 2 Pro starts at €749 (around INR 63,300) for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant and €849.99 (around INR 71,800) for the 12GB RAM/267GB storage model.
Realme GT2 Pro specifications
The GT2 Pro boasts a 6.7-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED LTPO 2.0 panel with a resolution of 1440x3216px. The display has a peak brightness of 1,400nits and support for 120Hz refresh rate. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The device is powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip along with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There is also a built-in 36,761mm2 vapor chamber to help dissipate heat during high-stress situations like gaming.
The GT2 Pro features a triple camera setup on the rear including a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with a 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX766 sensor (supports omni-directional PDAF and OIS), a 50MP ultrawide-angle lens with 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor and a 3MP microscope lens with 40x magnification.
Finally, the Realme GT2 Pro comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.

Realme GT2 specifications
Unlike the GT2 Pro, the Realme GT2 sports a smaller 6.62-inch 1080p AMOLED screen with support for 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset.
The device has the same main camera as the Realme GT2 Pro, however, it has a 8 MP ultrawide lens and a 2 MP macro lens. Rest of the specs are more or less similar with its larger sibling.
