Kaito urges leaders to be honest in their responsibilities
Dimapur, Dec. 30 (EMN): Agriculture and Cooperation minister, G Kaito Aye has called upon the village leaders and students community to be honest and sincere in their responsibilities for the betterment of the village and also adapt themselves with the fast changing world to progress at par with the rest of the people.
Kaito stated this during the platinum jubilee celebration of Lazami Students’ Union (LSU) at Lazami local ground on December 29 on the theme ‘75 strides and beyond.’ He also encouraged the gathering to have sympathetic and humane feelings towards one another and promote peace for cordial co-existence in the society.
He further appreciated and acknowledged the pioneers of LSU for their vision and expressed his happiness at reaching the 75th milestone.
Earlier, the chief guest unveiled the monolith and also released the jubilee souvenir while a short speech was delivered by Joshua Sumi, former NLA deputy speaker. Rev. Kiyeto G Sema, senior pastor of SABCK, dedicated the jubilee monolith.
