ZSUN, DPS hold felicitation programmes for meritorious students

Dimapur, Sep. 6 (EMN): Zeliangrong Students’ Union Nagaland organised a felicitation programme on September 3 at Town Hall in Peren. An update said that Mhathung Tsanglao, ADC,Peren was the special guest.

It said that the ADC spoke on the theme “perseverance and endurance of competitive spirits”

“Be consistent, know your passion and translate your dreams into reality,” he said. 

The official also spoke on the competitiveness of students, stating that the competitors should not be a hindrance in learning and in achieving one’s dream.

Tsanglo also urged upon the students to inculcate good moral conduct.

Meanwhile, student toppers and candidates securing more than 80% and above in HSLC, HSSLC and UG examinations of 2021 were presented with certificates..

 The union further extended gratitude to all donors and individuals in all aspects for the grand success of the program. It said that the speech on behalf of the meritorious students was delivered by Pungbale Rangkau. Meanwhile,  ‘Voice of victory’ was presented by a choir from All St. Hr. Sec. School, Peren.

Earlier, Aakam Pame, president ZSUN said the welcome note and congratulated the students and urged them “persevere and to work hard in order to achieve their dreams.” The programme concluded with vote of thanks d by Ipiebeube Haihing, vice president, ZSUN.

Delhi Public School Dimpaur, organsied a felicitation programme to acknowledge and honour the achievers of AISSCE 2021 (Class 12) on September 4.

An update stated that 58 students scored 90% and above with Naman Kumar Jain from Commerce stream topping the overall chart with 99.6% marks.

It said that Saakshi Pun and Vidilhouno Savino from Science and Arts stream securied 98.8% and 98.4% respectively. All the students were presented with a sapling as a token of love and a letter of appreciation for their outstanding and record breaking performances, it informed.

 The programme was attended by SI Jamir, Chairman, Dimapur Public School Society, Dr. Aotoshi, Pro Vice Chairman, DPS Dimapur, parents and student achievers, principal, teachers and students of present Class 11 and 12.
