Pokémon Unite is finally hitting iOS and Android stores on September 22
Dimapur, August 18 (EMN): Originally released in July for the Nintendo Switch, popular Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) video game Pokémon Unite is finally coming to iOS and Android devices on September 22.
The five-versus-five MOBA game from TiMi Studio Group introduces a slight twist in the way traditional MOBA games are played. For starters, teams who scores the most points within a 10-minute timer are adjudged the winner. These points, called Aeos Energy, are collected by battling wild Pokémon that spawn across the map. Players choose one single Pokémon from among 21 different Pokémon options that gets stronger as the match goes on.
The Pokémon Company announced the news during a livestream event today.
The company has confirmed that the game will offer cross-platform play and support for cross-progression so that users can switch between console and mobile devices conveniently.
To celebrate the launch, Switch players will have the opportunity to get a Zeraora license.

The game is already up for pre-registration on both the Google Play Store and the Apple Store. Depending on the number of pre-registrations, the game is offering two possible gifts for players: A Pikachu license for 2.5 million players preregistrations and a Pikachu holoware festival style license for 5 million player registrations.
The company has aslo stated that Mamoswine and Sylveon will be added to the game in a “future update.”
