BAN demarcates area in Dimapur for Naga farmers to sell their produce

Dimapur, Nov. 2 (EMN): The Business Association of Nagas (BAN) has initiated a platform for Naga farmers and cultivators to sell their wholesale products and produce at Super Market in Dimapur.

BAN in collaboration with Development Authority of Nagaland (DAN) has demarcated an area to sell their products and produces every Wednesday from 5 am to 9 am, an update from BAN informed.

BAN has informed that the demarcated area is ‘entirely arranged for Naga farmers and cultivators’.

“Illegal collection in any form will not be entertained,” it stated.

BAN has also appealed to all the Nagas to help and encourage Naga farmers by buying the local produce and be a part in promoting the economy. It has also requested the Naga political groups to ‘support and protect the local farmers and cultivators from outside forces and monopoly.’

BAN is an association that strives to promote Naga business fraternity from the smallest trader, manufacturer, and cultivator to the big firms and companies, it added.
