Casio India announces ‘Casio Piano Clubs’ for Nagaland
Kulbhushan Seth, vice president SAARC Countries, Casio India, has agreed to launch its “Casio Piano Clubs” in all the districts of Nagaland on phase manner.
Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) advisor Theja Meru informed this after meeting with the later in Delhi on Saturday.
Kulbhushan Seth said that Casio tied-up with TaFMA in this initiative of taking quality music education to every corner of Nagaland.
Through this initiative of Casio, Music Schools will get ‘Master Music Trainers’ visiting the institutes to conduct ‘Master Classes’, and Casio equipment at special discounted rates.
TaFMA will identify existing music schools in the districts and help in tie-up for Casio Piano School.
For the first phase, the five districts that have been identified are; Mokokchung School of Music – Mokokchung, Little Spring School – Zunheboto, Clearwater Creative Arts- Wokha, Mountain Music Academy-Dimapur and Elite Music Ensemble-Phek.
Meanwhile, ‘Casio The Pianist’ a piano competition will take place soon to recognise existing Piano talent in Nagaland.
