6771 persons received Covid-19 vaccine in Nagaland so far

Dimapur, Jan. 8 (EMN): A total of 438 persons — 102 healthcare workers and 336 frontline workers — from across Nagaland received Covid-19 vaccine on Monday, taking the total number of beneficiaries to 6,771 (6391 healthcare and 380 frontline workers) till date.

According to State Immunisation Officer, Dr. Ritu Thurr, no adverse events that needed medical intervention were reported among the vaccinated candidates in the state so far.

‘A total of 58,12,362 persons have been safely administered with the Covaxin and Covishield vaccines from across the country so far, read the update, adding that “Covid-19 vaccines and Covid appropriate behaviours can save many lives and shorten the duration of the pandemic effectively”.
