2nd Champions T20 Cricket Trophy: Deccan Strikers, Bokajan XI Star and Brave Heart win

Dimapur, Feb. 14 (EMN): Deccan Strikers, Bokajan XI Star and Brave Heart Warriors won their respective matches at the ongoing 2nd Champions T20 Cricket Trophy, organised by Nagamese Baptist Fellowship Sports Committee, Chumoukedima at Chumoukedima ground on Monday.

In the first match, Deccan Strikers defeated Dimension XI by nine runs, an update informed.

Taking the bat first, Deccan Strikers set a target of 163 runs but Dimension managed to score only 153 runs. Tokemi of Deccan Strikers was declared the man of the match for scoring 50 runs.

In the second match, Bokajan XI Star knocked NBF by nine wickets. Winning the toss, NBF elected to bat and managed to score 111 runs.

Bokajan XI finished the game in 7.2 overs. Jabas Ali of Bokajan XI Star was adjudged the man of the match for scoring 47 runs (not out).

Playing the last match, Brave Heart Warriors also won easily against Fornex CC.

Fornex won the toss and elected to bat first setting a target of 99 runs, which was chased down in 7.2 overs by Brave Heart Warriors.

Kundan was declared the man of the match for scoring 57 runs.

On Feb. 15 (Tuesday), United XI will take on Forever CC in the first match, Silver Machete will play against Panthers Team in the second match and Bashers will play against Hurricane CC in the last match.
