Dimapur, Dec 21: A contingent of 26 martial artists from Faith in Action Taekwondo Academy Dimapur will participate in the forthcoming TIA-Open International Taekwondo Championship in Kolkata from December 28 to 29.
A press note from the office of Faith in Action informed that the championship is organised by Jeong’s Taekwondo Academy in association with Korea Taekwondo Association which is promoted by Korea Cultural Centre at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra, Kolkota.
A total of ten countries will be taking part in the two day Taekwondo Championship in Kyorugi and Poomsae even.
The participants from Faith in Action Taekwondo Academy are Tiayanger, AkaitoYepthomi, L. Pfokho, Kevin, Jon, Imnatoshi, SantoshBhagat, KhotongtiImchen, Manish Chhetri, AltabUddinChoudhury, JubaierIkbal, NasherUddinChoudhury, Diana D. Chishi, ViniviSwu, Neiweleu, KatilaKachari, Irene Pokharel, ElinaYepthomi, Chubsangla Chang and ArpitaBhattacharjee.
The Contingent will led by coach Deep Kumar with referees Husheto Zhimomi and Sanjay Chetri and a female caretaker Renbeni Pattonalong with 2 team Managers the release added.
