24 Angetyongpang NDPP kicks off CMHIS registration

Mokokchung, Nov. 28 (EMN): The 24 Angetyongpang Assembly Constituency Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) kicked off its door-to-door registration of beneficiaries for Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS), in the presence of NDPP Mokokchung Region Youth Organisation officials and others on Monday.

The CMHIS for 24 Angetyongpang A/C was kicked off at Sungkomen community hall with a dedicatory prayer pronounced by Rev. O Yashi, pastor of Sungkomen Baptist Church.

President, NDPP Mokokchung Region Youth Organisation, Bendang Walling, in his speech underscored that CMHIS is first of its kind health insurance scheme launched by the state government.

He asserted that the kicking off of CMHIS for Angetyongpang assembly seat shows that 24 Angetyongpang NDPP is a matured organisation with a sense of responsibility to work for the welfare of the people.

He also observed that the minister concerned of 24 Angetyongpang A/C is a responsible and dedicated leader who never gets tired of bringing welfare schemes to the people and implementing it at the grass root level, citing the recent kicking off of NBOCWWB and other schemes in the constituency.

Cautioning that there might be hurdles while implementing CMHIS, he appealed the ward authorities and village councils to support and assist the Angetyongpang NDPP AC Youth Organisation for inclusive coverage.

Walling also assured the 24 Angetyongpang NDPP A/C that the NDPP Mokokchung Region is ever ready to support and provide help in any manner for the successful implementation of CMHIS in Angetyongpang area.

President, 24 Angetyongpang NDPP A/C, Nungshimayang, stated that CMHIS is one of the biggest welfare schemes and the first health insurance scheme in the state.

He also informed that the CMHIS for Angetyongpang is initiated by 24 Angetyongpang NDPP A/C and implemented by 24 Angetyongpang NDPP A/C Youth Organisation.

President of 24 Angetyongpang NDPP A/C Youth Organisation, Supongwati, informed that 20 hand-picked volunteers from all units have been trained as operators w to provide wide coverage.

Stating that the exercise will be inclusive, he urged the beneficiaries to be ready with required documents particularly, Aadhaar and ration cards.

Sungkomen Ward Authority chairman, Limanungsang, also asserted that party workers should be proactive not only in politics but also in bringing and implementing government schemes to benefit the people.

He also advised the 24 Angetyongpang NDPP AC Youth Organisation to implement the scheme in an transparent manner without any prejudice.
