207 new Covid-19 recorded in Nagaland; tally pushed to 13445

Dimapur, April 27 (EMN):
A total of 207 new Covid-19 cases were detected in Nagaland on Tuesday, pushing the state’s active caseload to 874 and tally to 13445.

The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, updated on Tuesday that 177 fresh cases were detected in Dimapur, 13 in Kohima, nine in Tuensang, three each in Mokokchung and Longleng and one each in Mon and Peren.

He added that 16 positive patients – eight in Kohima, seven in Dimapur and one in Wokha – recovered in the last 24 hours.

According to the Health and Family Welfare department, out of the 874 active Covid-19 cases in the state, 773 are asymptomatic, 72 mild, 16 moderate on oxygen and 11 severe on oxygen.

In regard to the district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur has 672 active cases, 151 in Kohima, 19 in Mokokchung, nine in Tuensang, eight each in Phek and Longleng, four in Mon, two in Peren, and one in Kiphire, while Wohka and Zunheboto districts are Covid-free.
