17 Naga girls selected by Go Air

17 girls from Emporium Skills Training Institute Dimapur got selcted for cabin crew
The candidates who were selected to be part of cabin crews for Go Air.

Dimapur, Sep. 24 (EMN): Go Air, a low-cost carrier in India, conducted a recruitment drive in Siliguri at the Emporium Skills Training Institute, city centre, after which 17 Naga girls were selected.

Candidates from various north-eastern states came for the interview. More than 350 candidates participated in the interview, updates stated.

The government publicity agency the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR) issued updates on Sep. 24 informing about the selection of the women.

Altogether 58 candidates from Emporium Skills Training Institute at Dimapur went to Siliguri to participate in the interview. 17 of them were selected as members of cabin crew, the updates stated.

Nagaland recorded the highest number of selections from among the states. Overall 25 candidates were hired during the recruitment drive out of which 17 were from Nagaland, the IPR stated.

All these selected candidates are currently undergoing training at the Emporium Skill Training Institute at Dimapur as part of the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna Scheme (PMKVY2.0), which is implemented under the aegis of the dof Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, the IPR informed.

‘The selected candidates will be reporting to Mumbai shortly and will fly to around 25 destinations in India and seven overseas destinations,’ the IPR added.
