155 Bn CRPF display weapons at NCC combined training camp

Dimapur, July 8 (EMN): 155 Battalion CRPF Bokajan conducted a weapon display at the ongoing ten-day combined annual training camp at Pilgrim School, Dimapur being organised by Air Sqn of NCC, Dimapur under the guidance of NCC Group Headquarter Kohima.
The weapon instructors of the battalion displayed all the hand operated, semi-automatic and automatic weapons and demonstrated the correct handling, operating, all the safety precautions to be adopted and maintenance of the weapons. Also the cadets were told about the history of weapons from primitive age to renaissance.
Commandant of 155 Bn CRPF, Mukesh Kumar Tyagi, also addressed the cadets about the motto of the weapon training, its implementation to counter insurgency and self protection. He also added that the training on weapon is an important facet of NCC training. A total of 550 boys and girls NCC cadets from various institutions are taking part in the camp.
